  I was thinking about spelljammer again and realized I should share my house rules for sphere generators. Here's a PDF for home printing.

  Disregard the attack Matrix. An attacks rolls 2d6+HD to hit an enemy, trying to score greater than or equal to the target's AC. If the attack succeeds by 2 or less it is a glancing blow, inflicting minimum damage.
