The Sweet Tooth

    I recently ran Honey in the Rafters play by post in a discord server I am in. I realized that some people might want to become a sugar cultist and thought well how would that be done, luckily I got a copy of As The Gods Demand and realized this would be a great way to handle someone becoming a priest of The Sweeth Tooth

The Children of Sugar

    Adherents of The Sweet Tooth are denoted by their colorful robes, often adorned with various intricate swirls and stripes in white. The churches of The Sweet Tooth often double as candy stores in towns. The members are often seen as hedons obsessed with the frivolous aspects of life. The followers of course only disagree with the latter of the two statements, as if a mouse is without delights it is hardly a life to them.

Initiation

    To join the Children of Sugar one must seek out a Chef Sibling and works under their wing for a week, after that week of service is done you must travel into the world and bring back a new source of sugar, only then will you be given the holy apron of a Chef.

Daily Invocation

• Always eat until full
• Never pass up tasting a substance you know to be edible that you have never eaten before
• Always carry sweet food on your person
• Assist in the preparation of all foods

Initial Miracle

The Delights of the Tongue

    You touch unpalatable plant matter and cause it to turn to sweetened rations that leave you feeling full within a single delicious bite.

Rites

The Spreading of the Sweetness

    You must prepare a feast for an entire town filled to the brim with sugar, you must prepare one piece of candy, and one sweetened bread for each mouse in the town. You may not partake in any food for three days prior to the feast. You may not taste any of the food you are making and must rely upon your knowledge of sweetness to carry you through the preparation. If the entire town is satisfied the rite is complete.

Miracle: Call of the Feast

    You are suddenly aware of all of the deliciousness near you. You instinctively know how to navigate to the nearest location where great amounts of food are stored.

Baptism by Syrup

    You must soak yourself in a vat of sugar water, it must be slowly brought to a boil until it becomes a sugary syrup, the pain will allow you to commune with the sweet tooth. You must finish your commune before passing out from the pain to complete the rite.

Miracle: Sap of the Holytree

    You may call forth a rain of sticky sweet tree sap that lasts for hit dice rounds, after the rain is done the sap can be harvested for its sugar but anything caught in the rain is stuck in the sap.

Alchemy of Caramel 

    You must consume the holy sweetened mushroom that grows from rotting sugar beats of The Grove of the Sweet Tooth. Your blood will slowly be replaced with sweet caramel and you must allow yourself to lay unmoving for three days and three nights to complete the rite.

Miracle: Aura of Feasting

    Your very presence fills the stomachs of all that surround you if you fast for one day the following day all those near you feel nourished, and the taste of sweetness fills their mouth.

• Give sweets freely to a traveler
• Intentionally spread sugar bearing crops across the landscape
• Prepare a dessert for someone
• Spend a day harvesting sources of sugar
