Armor of the Bay
Warriors need to have their innards protected. The best way to do that is to wear armor. Here are the common armors in the Birini region.
Cotton
Unprocessed cotton between fabric, creating a very soft armor that dampens impacts and is hard to pierce.

Lamellar, Porcelain
Pieces of Thrion ceramic overlapping each other creating a hard yet flexible set of armor.

Leather
Hardened animal hide (typically cow but occasionally mammoth) a cheap and solid way to protect the innards.

Plate
Solid bronze, typically they are made somewhat decoratively, showing gleaming metal abs, cod pieces, other features the warrior wishes to accentuate.

Small bronze plates overlapping like the protective scales of a serpent.

If using the Partial Armor for Old School Essentials rules use the following formula to create the partial armor for each set.
- Chest Piece 25% cost and weight. 25AP per +1 armor bonus.
- Gauntlet 10% cost and weight. 7.5AP per +1 full armor bonus.
- Helmet 5% cost and weight. 20AP per +1 full armor bonus.
- Legging 15% cost and weight. 12.5AP per +1 full armor bonus.
- Pauldron 10% cost and weight. 7.5AP per +1 full armor bonus.
