When exploring the galaxy a new place to investigate, visit, or lie low.
Olympia 1 The Moon of Plenty
Mining isn't the most glamorous job in the world but you cannot deny the money starts rolling in with the opening of the mine. Olympia 1 is a moon of the gas giant Olympia. Olympia 1 has some of the most plentiful Aether and Trembium mines ever seen.
The Dry Moon
Not many places off of Earth are fully dry but Olympia is different. The mines set up were established by an American Company using the Imperial system. The small spaceship docking station is too small for ships built to the metric scale meaning they cannot dock. A new station built for metric ships is in the process of being made but it will be a few years until that happens, meaning nearly 100% of the people on the planet are Americans. Fortunately for people in need of a drink that doesn't mean 100% compliance with the law.
New Morgantown The Big Dome
The only city on this mostly desolate moon is New Morganstown. A new boom city fueled by the riches of the mining operation. With a population of 10,000 permanent residents, New Morganstown isn't the largest city but it keeps rapidly expanding as terraforming attempts across the moon march on.
Important Locales
The Fruit Tree Hotel
The go-to hotel for anyone rich coming to Olympia 1. No expense is spared, mainly because of the mine owners using it often whenever they come to Olympia. The basement is home to the highest class speakeasy on the moon, The Plum.
The plum is operated by a woman named Madam Plum. Madam Plum is a hyper charismatic caper who has managed to talk her way into being ignored by the cops. The Plum is the go-to spot for women looking for a drink as Madam Plum doesn't abide by any lechery in her establishment.
The Plant
The Economic powerhouse of the city, the plant is where a massive amount of metals, trembium, and aether are refined into useable forms. Most people who aren't working in the mines work at the plant refining the ores. It is a constant flurry of hot metal ad loud machines with people working throughout the day. Talks of unionizing are sweeping through the factory but no plans have been put into place yet.
NM Station
The train station that keeps the city together, since cars are an incredibly expensive luxury import New Morganstown station connects both the out of city mines to the plant as well as being the origin point of the tram network crossing the city.
Club 211
A smaller speakeasy in the commercial district. Club 211 is notable for its music and liveliness.
The Quarters
The being planned out from the start has a neatly defined set of districts called the quarters. To the north, there is the commercial district where you can find shops for anything one would need in the modern era. To the east is the industrial zones is where all of the industrial needs of the city are met, including ore refinement and life support. To the south is the residential zone filled to the brim with house upon house, this is where most of the miners and factory workers live. Finally to the west is the Civic district, this is where institutions such as the city hall are located. On top of all the governing bodies located there are the richer neighborhoods and Western Park, the city's biggest park.
Important People
Joe Magarac Caper 1
A worker at the mill and the person that seems the most likely to be the one start the unionizing process. Joe is quite noticeable for his permanent metallic skin.

Coming Events
Here is a list of things that will soon break up the balance on Olympia 1.
Incorporation into the United States: there are talks with people back in Washington to get the city of New Morganstown legally a part of the united states. It has been operating under all the laws of the nation but was not technically part of it and received no federal assistance. Incorporation would mark a massive change and bring many new people to the moon as well as increasing the profits made by the mine owners.
Opening the Farm: Food prices in the colony have been high due to the lifeless nature of the moon, but soon in hopes of making the city more self-sustaining the farm will be opened. A new dome is almost complete and as soon as it is grains and livestock will be shipped in. If the plans succeed then all the materials for booze making will become a lot cheaper on Olympia 1.
